Det var et stort 50års lag og Monica og jeg var hyra inn som surprise fra 1001natt.
Vi skiftet fra sliten husmor og sliten barnehagearbeider tidligere på kvelden, på med sminke og glitrende klær og smykker og vips var vi plutselig prinsesser (fortsatt litt slitne da).

Saturday 11th of february - Monica and Catherine dancing at a birthdayparty.
We were hired as a suprise from 1001nights at a birthdayparty for a guy who was 50 years old.
Earlier that evening we did the transformation, from tired housewife/tired childcare worker to beautiful princesses from 1001nights. Just put on a lot of make-up and a lot of sparkling jewellery and all of a sudden you are a princess (still looking a bit tired though).

Jeg hadde glemt kontaktlinser, og prinsesser danser ikke med briller, så da danset jeg uten å se noenting. Men publikum var fornøyd og alle smilte og var glade; sa Monica, jeg så jo ingenting.

I had forgotten my contactlenses and a princess most definite doesn't wear glasses, so I had to dance without. Beuatiful princess but almost blind. The audience though smiled happily according to Monica, I didn't see a thing.
